For the past week or so I’ve been working on The Graphic Student website. They used to have a website before, and I always found it very useful when I was a design student.
The main problem I always find with the graphic design world is that very few designers like talking to students, let alone reveal their “secrets” to how they work. In actual fact, there isn’t any secret to graphic design other than hard work and a bit of luck, but hot shot designers like to think they’re doing something different.
Last time I didn’t take much of an interest with The Graphic Student, but this time I intend to change that. Now I’m not a student anymore I really want to help out other design students as it can be a difficult industry to break in to at the best of times.
I’ll probably be blabbering on about it more when it launches properly.
