Euston, a problem arose (Sunday, June 8th, 2008)

Right. Here’s the issue I face. I want to use the sexy new Wordpress admin system, but it isn’t letting me easily import previous posts. So it looks like I’m starting a complete fresh.

After the server my website is hosted on got hacked last time, I’ve struggled to find the time to redesign my blog again since. What you see in front of you is organic: I’m going to keep editing, chopping and changing bits as and when I get the time to improve things. Feel free to offer some thoughts in the comments. Also, if anyone knows a way that actually works to import posts from Textpattern to Wordpress, they’ll get a big snuggly hug.

So this is my new blog. Welcome.

Again.

P.S. I promise to update it more regular now.

There should be an RSS pulse type function, which enables you to send a message out to all of your feed subscribers saying that you’ve changed blog address. I only got here because I followed the link to your website from the comment you left on my blog, so I wasn’t even aware that you’d moved.

About the whole importing thing, I’m sure you can just do it through RSS, but by Google searching “import textpattern to WordPress” I came across this page:
