Over the next few days I’m going to be redesigning my blog, so expect some downtime at some point.
I’ve got sick of the dark grey and difficult to read text, so I’m working on a very simplified design. I’m going to be getting rid of a lot of categories, and just generally cleaning this place up. The redesigned blog will be a lot easier to read, a lot more nicely spaced out, and certainly less oppressive.
I think while this current design is very ‘cute’ in some respects, it represents a style of design I don’t really believe in anymore. It’s very bold, brash and in your face, and that isn’t the type of design I’m that keen on anymore. More than anything, I just don’t feel that this designs gives a good impression of me.
Basically, I’m going for a very Swedish look, but because next to nobody who reads this blog will get that, see here, here and here to shed light on the situation. Think lots of black and white.
